Social Care Team Leader

Applicants must hold the following qualifications: -

a)       An appropriate professional qualification (i.e. National Diploma in Child Care or National Diploma in Applied Social Studies in Social Care or equivalent

 and

A minimum of three year’s relevant experience in a childcare or social care setting, and preferable some experience in a leader position

Professional Knowledge

• An understanding of key legislative and policy developments in relation to the care and protection of children.

Communications and Interpersonal Skills

• Ability to relate to staff and young people.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to prepare and write clear and concise reports.

Team Work

• Willingness to work as part of a team.
